This antique copy of the classic poem is illustrated with five colour plates by Frank Brangwyn. It includes an introduction by Joseph Jacobs.
It is in acceptable condition:
- the cover has some discolouration, especially on the back
- The spine veneer has cracks along the edges.
- the corners are bumped
- the spine veneer appears to have been glued to the book
- Inside there are two names on the front flysheet from 1907 and 1924.
- The second flysheet has some staining.
- The pages are unevenly bound which has led to a little tattiness.
- Page 97 has a diagonal crease on the top corner.
- There is some foxing on the tissues over the pictures.
- Page 71 has a tear on its edge26cm x 17cm x 2cm approx.
