This Unknown Island by SPB Mais, illustrated by Leslie Atkinson, 1946, published by The Falcon Press, London. Hardback, 122 pages

This vintage travel hardback is illustrated throughout with black and white drawings and twelve pull-out maps.
It is in fairly good condition - the original dust-jacket has some creasing along the edges and a couple of small tears on the back bottom edge. There are some scuffs to the spine.
Inside there is a name on the front flysheet. Many of the maps have creases where the book has been shut on them. The last map has a larger crease along the edge and a diagonal crease, as well as a tiny tear on the edge and another on the bottom edge.

22cm x 14.5cm x 1.5cm approx.
