This vintage art hardback is signed by Tom Keating, and includes a letter from him stuck onto the front flysheet.

The book is in good condition:
- the original dust-jacket and book have been plastic-covered
- there is a soft crease at the front top edge
- the letter has been taped into the book which makes the front flysheet stand up as the letter was longer than the page (see pics)
- the signature on the second flysheet is a card taped into the book
- the book itself has no writing, tearing, creasing or dog-earing.

The art world was thrown into a turmoil when it learned that Tom Keating, with dealers, auctioneers and collectors hoaxed by his Samuel Palmers of the Shoreham period, claimed to have painted at least two thousand other imitations over a period of more than twenty years.
