Victorian British Landscape Engraving - Book Page Rescue, c1894, E-L, England and Wales Gazetteer

These are Victorian engravings of landscapes from England and Wales.

They have been rescued from The Comprehensive Gazetteer of England and Wales edited by JHF Brabner, published in 1894.

The books were no longer able to be saved after serious damage (please be assured I would never put a healthy book down!) but the engravings have been taken out, the binding marks have been trimmed but I have left the width so that they can be trimmed to fit your chosen mount or frame.

Their condition is good, there is some minor discolouration in the margins; a couple have a single pin-prick on the margin (see pics and list). Their edges have some creasing or ruffling, including a crease at the top edge where it folded into the book.

16.5cm x 25.5cm approx.

Hastings from the Castle
Kingswear and River Dart
Llangollen and Castle
