The Best of Friends by John Aspinall, 1976, First Edition, published by Macmillan, London. Hardback, 159 pages

This vintage hardback about the author and Howletts Zoo, Kent, is signed by the author and includes a small collection of news clippings about him.

The book is illustrated throughout with black and white and colour photos. It is in good condition:
- the cover has some wear and rubbing, and a small tear on the back top spine.
- the dust-jacket has been taped onto the book
- there is some minor foxing/staining on the first few pages and on the edges of the pages
- pages 25, 79 and 81 have a crease on the top edge

25cm x 18.5cm x 2cm approx.

Newspaper clippings have been folded and therefore have creases
