This large beautiful hardback contains portraits of the theatrical stars of the day. It is undated but is c1902. Portraits include Sarah Bernhardt, Henry Irving etc. It is rare and complete.

The portraits are stylised in a stunning art nouveau style.

It is in fair condition:
- the cover has wear, rubbing and some discolouration and marks.
- The spine veneer has some small splits at the top and bottom.
- the pastedowns have split
- Inside there is foxing on the edges of the information pages Miss Jane Hading's paper backing has tatty edges.
- there are creases on Jane Hading's picture and William Gillette's info page
- There is some creasing on the info page for Mrs Maesmore Morris and a vertical crease on Miss Ada Reeve's info page.
- the front cover is a little loose
- the back flysheet has a large diagonal crease
