This Victorian science hardback is illustrated throughout with black and white diagrams and engravings.
It is in acceptable-fair condition:
- the cover has some wear and rubbing
- inside there is a name on the front flysheet with some rubbed out writing on the opposite page
- there are some marks and smudges on the pages throughout
- there are some stains on the page edges that can only be seen when the book is shut
- there are a few pencil marks in the margins and page 190 has some pencil doodles (see pics)
- there are some small dog-ears
- the back flysheet has a large diagonal crease
