Nicholas Nickleby, by Charles Dickens, published by Collins Clear-Type Press, London. Hardback, 846 pages
This vintage hardback is undated but is c.1930s. It is illustrated throughout with black and white plates.
It is in fairly good condition - the original dust-jacket has a missing section on the bottom edge of the front cover, as well as a couple of tiny tears on the top of the spine. The front flap has been clipped.
Inside there are a couple of old bookseller notes on the front flysheet. There are some small dog-ears throughout. P256 has some marks on the text though it's still readable (see pics). The last few pages have some water staining on the margins, not affecting the text.
Otherwise there is no writing, tearing or creasing.
